Role overview
This role supports the onboarding of both private and public fund managers. Day-to-day tasks span the full lifecycle of fund management, including screening managers, reviewing documentation, and preparing marketing materials for our distribution and Client Advisory & Management (CAM) teams. The position emphasizes learning and growth, with exposure to a wide range of fund types and industry practices.
Collaboration
Daily work involves close interaction with senior funds team members, General Partners (GPs), placement agents, and colleagues from legal, compliance, distribution, marketing, and CAM. While full ownership of workstreams is not expected at this level, participation in most projects is encouraged, fostering a collaborative environment.
What you will do
- Support senior team members in liaising with GPs on performance questions, onboarding, documentation, redemptions, and subscription cycles.
- Check onboarding documents (PPM, subscription forms, KYC) for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor outstanding items across funds and highlight potential risks to timelines.
- Conduct basic fund analysis, distinguishing between asset classes, strategies, and vehicles such as PE, VC, hedge, private credit, and public funds.
- Help assess which funds are suitable for the addx platform and ensure consistent comparisons across managers and strategies.
- Prepare due diligence materials (track record snapshots, peer comparisons, structure summaries) for senior review.
- Assist in producing sales materials, factsheets, EDMs, STO pages, brochures, ensuring all data is current and accurate.
- Respond to straightforward questions from marketing and CAM teams about redemptions, subscriptions, NAV, and fund performance.
- Develop an understanding of investor preferences and how funds are positioned for different investor groups.
- Spot inefficiencies and raise critical issues early to prevent escalation.
- Work to minimize errors in document handling, data entry, and communication with stakeholders.
Learning and development
- Expand knowledge of fund structures, strategies, fee models, and market participants across private and public assets.
- Build a solid grasp of addx’s internal processes for onboarding and fund management.
