Proven expertise in building and deploying resilient and secure web applications in a continuous deployment setting. A robust craftsmanship mindset and a keen interest in tackling challenges at Sigma. Solid foundational knowledge in Computer Science. Qualifications We Want (also, skills you’ll learn!)Experience in developing software solutions for analyzing large-scale data web applications. A data-driven mindset and its application in resolving distributed system issues. Experience in data model design and API development to enable customer-facing functionalities. The engineering team is growing, and Sigma is looking for a Fullstack Staff Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA. This role focuses on solving technical challenges across the stack and shaping features that help businesses work with data more easily.

What You Will Do

  • Tackle complex engineering problems to deliver fast, interactive analytics and workflow applications on top of modern data warehouses.
  • Develop software using tools and languages such as Rust, Go, GraphQL, and Typescript.
  • Create new algorithms and techniques to improve performance and interactivity for analytics used by large enterprises.
  • Investigate, debug, and resolve product or system issues by identifying root causes.
  • Design and build new software features to support a rapidly increasing user base.
  • Work closely with teams across infrastructure, design, product, customer support, sales, and marketing to deliver new product capabilities.
