Position Overview
We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our growing team as one of the inaugural hires. Following our successful funding round led by prominent U. S. venture capital firms, we are rapidly expanding our team.
The ideal candidate is proactive, capable of multitasking, and a proven collaborator. As a lead developer, you will be instrumental in the creation of new software products and the enhancement of existing solutions. Proficiency in building large-scale applications and frameworks, alongside excellent communication and leadership abilities, is essential.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development and product delivery.
- Proficient in modern programming languages such as Node.js, Ruby, or Python.
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React or VueJS.
- Solid understanding of system and API design.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent written communication skills in English, with proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese preferred. Our team operates remotely, with a heavy reliance on text-based communication.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of product features, which includes scoping, designing, coding, testing, and deploying new functionalities.
- Collaborate closely with executives, project managers, designers, and fellow engineers to ideate and implement solutions to user challenges.
- Play a pivotal role in shaping Cubbo’s product offerings and technology stack.
