Your Role
As our fourth engineer and first dedicated frontend hire, you'll have a unique opportunity to shape the frontend landscape as we expand. You will develop responsive, server-rendered features using React and Next.js, enhance performance, and collaborate on Python services that power our applications.
Your Responsibilities
Lead the development of our Next.js application (SSR + SSG), with a focus on complex data tables and visual analytics handling large datasets.
Make key decisions regarding frontend architecture and establish long-term technical strategies.
Develop product analytics strategies and implement the necessary tools.
Contribute to backend development using FastAPI as needed.
Your Qualifications
5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, and at least 3 years of production experience with React.
Proficiency with Redux Toolkit or a similar state management library.
Experience with SCSS or CSS-in-JS, along with a solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
At least 2 years of experience with Python in various contexts (scripts, CLI, data pipelines, etc.).
Minimum of 2 years of backend development experience in any language.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with React Query or TanStack Query.
Experience with virtualized grids or tables.
