Role overview
This Full-Stack Engineer position emphasizes front-end expertise and user experience. The role involves developing features that span both client and server sides, with a focus on building intuitive, high-quality interfaces for HUD's core products.
What you will do
- Build and launch product features across the stack, ensuring a seamless experience from front-end to back-end.
- Translate product and design requirements into polished, user-friendly interfaces.
- Optimize application performance for responsiveness and compatibility across browsers.
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs that support key product functions.
- Work directly with customers to understand workflows and use feedback to improve the product.
Requirements
- Experience owning products end-to-end and working across the stack.
- Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly, such as through competitive programming or similar challenges.
- A portfolio of shipped products, side projects, or live demos that highlight front-end skills.
- Background in early-stage startups and comfort working independently in changing environments.
- Familiarity with modern AI tools and an understanding of large language models (LLMs).
- Clear communication skills for remote collaboration across time zones.
Bonus experience
- Exceptional portfolio in UI/UX, interaction design, or creative engineering.
- Experience with reinforcement learning, post-training, or model training workflows.
- Knowledge of product analytics tools and experimentation methods such as A/B testing.
