Startup experience in early-stage tech companies, with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with modern AI tools and large language model (LLM) capabilities. Excellent communication skills for effective remote teamwork across varying time zones. Preferred qualifications include:An impressive portfolio reflecting exceptional UI/UX work, interaction design, or creative engineering. Experience with reinforcement learning, post-training, or model training workflows. Knowledge of product analytics tools and experimentation (e.g., A/B testing).

Role overview

This Full-Stack Engineer position emphasizes front-end expertise and user experience. The role involves developing features that span both client and server sides, with a focus on building intuitive, high-quality interfaces for HUD's core products.

What you will do

  • Build and launch product features across the stack, ensuring a seamless experience from front-end to back-end.
  • Translate product and design requirements into polished, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Optimize application performance for responsiveness and compatibility across browsers.
  • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs that support key product functions.
  • Work directly with customers to understand workflows and use feedback to improve the product.

Requirements

  • Experience owning products end-to-end and working across the stack.
  • Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly, such as through competitive programming or similar challenges.
  • A portfolio of shipped products, side projects, or live demos that highlight front-end skills.
  • Background in early-stage startups and comfort working independently in changing environments.
  • Familiarity with modern AI tools and an understanding of large language models (LLMs).
  • Clear communication skills for remote collaboration across time zones.

Bonus experience
