Role Overview:
Project Background: The DXD team is a collaborative effort between GovTech and the Ministry of Education (MOE), focused on the intersection of technology, design, and education. Here, we tackle a wide range of complex challenges within the education sector, working alongside insightful individuals who embody curiosity, empathy, and optimism.
Key Responsibilities: As a Full-Stack Engineer within the DXD Data Programme, you will be responsible for designing and developing infrastructure to support modern data science and machine learning applications. You will actively collaborate with policy and business divisions to bolster MOE-wide digital transformation initiatives through the effective use of data and AI methodologies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking comprehensive ownership of end-to-end system development, integrating frontend, backend, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure as necessary to meet organizational goals.
- Creating infrastructure and applications in line with contemporary cloud technology, ensuring they are reusable, scalable, and secure.
- Building data systems and supporting infrastructure, which includes database administration, ETL pipelining, and analytics tools that cater to various use cases within the MOE ecosystem.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Users, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership to ensure developed products align with user requirements.
