About the job
Join Famly as a Full Stack Engineer and play a pivotal role in developing lean experiments and scalable solutions that leverage agentic AI to elevate our products and drive significant growth.
Who are we? Famly is on a mission to bridge the collaboration gap in early childhood education. We are crafting the world’s most collaborative Early Childhood Platform, designed for adults involved in a child's life to connect, share responsibilities, and deepen their understanding of early childhood education. Our aim is to simplify life for educators and families, allowing them to focus on what truly matters.
In this role, you will be part of a dynamic Growth team composed of 7 engineers, 2 designers, and a PM. Here, each member significantly influences the path we take. Your contributions will range from implementing quick, data-driven experiments to developing long-term strategic features across both frontend and backend domains. You will actively integrate AI tools like Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code into your workflow to enhance efficiency and quality in your coding practices.
The Growth department operates directly under the CEO, empowering us to make swift decisions and adapt our strategies based on real-time learning.
This position is based in our Copenhagen office (Købmagergade), with a minimum expectation of 4 days a week in-office.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Develop quick, lean experiments and scalable production features that foster growth on Famly's platform.
Participate in a data-driven team environment where you can immediately observe the impact of your work on thousands of childcare professionals and families.
Engage in a variety of tasks across our products, including frontend UI development, backend API integration, and infrastructure improvements.
Collaborate with team members on planning, designing, developing, and launching new features and enhancements.
Utilize AI tools as an integral part of your development process for prototyping, code generation, debugging, and more.
Aim to transition Famly into a product-led organization, enabling customers to discover, test, purchase, and appreciate Famly independently.
Currently, the team is deeply engaged in expanding Famly's presence in the US market. This includes creating a billing and payments hub for childcare centers, redesigning product navigation, and enhancing onboarding processes to boost activation. These complex, domain-rich challenges demand a nuanced understanding of how childcare professionals operate their businesses.
