The Role
We are in search of passionate Product Engineers dedicated to the art of software craftsmanship. You will focus on strong typing, thoughtful API design, robust data modeling, and creating systems that are enjoyable for fellow engineers to use. As an early member of the Edra team, you will not only influence our product but also shape our engineering culture, select the tools we use, and establish the technical foundations of our company.
Our approach is deliberate and thorough. There is no divide between 'building' and 'shipping'—you will take ownership from conception to production and be accountable for the outcomes. We prioritize careful construction over rapid deployment, valuing speed and quality as complementary rather than conflicting.
Your Responsibilities
Create high-quality user-facing product experiences using TypeScript and React.
Participate in frontend architecture discussions and decisions.
Collaborate closely with design to contribute to product direction and design, ensuring clear reasoning in interface decisions.
Take full ownership of your work—gather context, manage dependencies, and drive tasks to completion independently.
Adapt to various roles as needed; you may build a component library in the morning, collaborate with a designer in the afternoon, and troubleshoot backend issues by day’s end.
Work collaboratively with a diverse team of engineers and AI specialists.
Influence our technical direction—select tools, set patterns, and establish conventions that will guide the team for years to come.
Continuously develop your skills and share insights with the team.
While your focus will be on frontend development, you will need to understand the system well enough to resolve backend issues encountered during development.
