About the Solutions Engineering Team
At Rox, the Solutions Engineering team is not just a support function; it plays a crucial role in shaping products and defining deals. Positioned at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Engineering, this team is tasked with transforming Rox's technical prowess into tangible customer benefits.
Joining our East Coast Solutions Engineering team at this foundational stage, you will collaborate with an incoming Solutions Engineering leader and three existing SEs based in San Francisco. Your contributions will help define the scalability of this function in New York, setting standards for demos, scoping, integration, and sales that will serve as the company's blueprint.
About the Role
This founding-level Solutions Engineer position is ideal for a candidate who is both technically adept and deeply committed to customer satisfaction, with strong opinions on the optimal functioning of sales engineering.
You will immerse yourself in real deals, conducting technical discovery, designing integrations, and leading demonstrations that clearly showcase how Rox fits within customer data and GTM ecosystems. Beyond execution, you will identify inefficiencies within the sales process, refining demo flows, enhancing technical narratives, and setting higher standards for future team members.

What You’ll Do
Quickly become a product expert, gaining a thorough understanding of Rox’s architecture, use cases, and customer workflows.
Collaborate closely with Sales to conduct impactful technical demos and support deals from initial contact through to closure.
Design and articulate integrations across data warehouses, CRMs, AI agents, and modern GTM tools.
Lead technical discovery sessions that uncover genuine customer challenges — transcending mere stated requirements.
Translate technical complexities into clear, actionable insights for customers.
