Role overview
The Founding Account Executive will work onsite at TierZero’s San Francisco headquarters. This role partners closely with the founding team to shape the company’s sales strategy from the start. There is no set playbook, every process and deal will help define how TierZero approaches sales as it grows.
What you will do
- Manage the full sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise accounts, from identifying prospects to closing deals.
- Drive outreach, discovery, negotiation, and closing to accelerate TierZero’s go-to-market progress.
- Navigate complex sales involving multiple stakeholders, and communicate technical value to engineering leaders and executives.
- Develop and document sales processes with the founding team, including qualification criteria and objection-handling strategies.
- Collaborate with the CEO to refine the Ideal Customer Profile, pricing, and competitive positioning.
- Share structured feedback from the field, including insights on wins, losses, and product requests from prospects.
- Build expertise in observability, incident management, Kubernetes, and CI/CD to engage technical buyers.
- Understand TierZero’s differentiators and address objections, such as prospects considering building solutions internally.
