About the Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our clients to comprehend their specific workflows, craft customized AI solutions, and implement systems that yield immediate results. You will operate at the forefront of conversational AI technology, partnering with our product team to refine our strategies based on firsthand observations in the field.
Your Key Responsibilities
Engage directly with customers to fully grasp their operations and deliver AI solutions that are effective from the start.
Develop and sustain the infrastructure for conversational AI, including APIs, integrations, monitoring, and feedback loops.
Convert business requirements into technical architectures and deployment strategies.
Recognize patterns across deployments and provide insights to enhance our core product roadmap.
Operate autonomously in high-pressure, ambiguous settings.
What You Bring to the Table
A minimum of 3 years in software engineering, ideally with a focus on backend or systems.
Expertise in Python (knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript is a plus) and familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical partners.
Bonus: experience with vector databases, LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI agent frameworks.
A proactive approach to navigating dynamic environments with evolving priorities.
A strong desire to work in-person with our team in NYC full-time.
