As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer at Databricks, you will play a critical role in deploying our cutting-edge data analytics solutions to our clients. You will work closely with customers, providing technical expertise and support to ensure successful implementation and utilization of our platform. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to address complex customer challenges, enhance user experience, and drive product adoption.

YOUR MISSION: As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (f/m/d) at Parloa, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of cutting-edge enterprise AI technology. Your mission is to lead comprehensive deployment projects, focusing not only on implementing existing solutions but also on crafting innovative engineering strategies that ensure success at an enterprise level. As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you will be our in-field product engineer, tasked with creating solutions that have yet to be developed. You will adapt architectures to meet the unique realities of enterprise environments and engineer integrations across various systems and APIs to facilitate successful deployments. This hands-on role requires a coding-first approach, as you will actively build, debug, and engineer solutions directly in the field. Your contributions will not only drive deployment success but will also shape the customer experience with Parloa and influence the evolution of our product. Your focus will not be on maintenance; instead, you will be engineering what is necessary for success in production, adhering to real-world enterprise constraints, and delivering results at speed and scale. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: Own deployment engineering projects: Lead the technical execution, including product engineering, of Parloa’s deployments within large, complex enterprise environments. Design for scale and resilience: Architect deployment solutions that fulfill enterprise-grade requirements for performance, reliability, and security. Engineer solutions where none exist: Develop custom extensions, integrations, and configurations to address product gaps and meet enterprise demands. Work across systems & stacks: Collaborate at the intersection of backend engineering, DevOps, and data engineering to ensure seamless delivery. Partner with enterprise teams: Collaborate directly with customer engineering organizations to navigate constraints and deliver measurable outcomes. Guide and mentor others: Provide technical guidance and support to junior in-field engineers. Influence at senior levels: Engage with enterprise architects and senior technical stakeholders to discuss solutions and architectures in depth, ensuring alignment and credibility. Debug under pressure: Quickly resolve issues in mission-critical environments to ensure customer success. Shape the product: Serve as the feedback loop between the field and our core engineering teams, converting deployment insights into platform improvements.
