Key Responsibilities:Guidebook Partners:Oversee guidebook publishing partners, addressing editorial inquiries, approving publishing programs, and ensuring the print quality of translated editions. Coordinate with Production for the seamless delivery of files to partners and resolve any production-related queries. Evaluate partners' marketing strategies and authorize marketing materials in alignment with Lonely Planet's brand guidelines. Keep partners updated on company and brand strategies relevant to publishing, marketing, and digital initiatives. Collaborate with partners to establish growth strategies and refine their publishing programs. Set and achieve budget targets for each partner. Gift/Children's Books:Meet co-edition and licensing budgets for assigned territories. Identify growth opportunities to expand our customer base and maximize revenue in your territories. Assist in the acquisition process and development of suitable titles for co-edition sales. Manage submissions and distribute sales materials efficiently. Take full responsibility for sales in your territories, from negotiating terms and drafting contracts to liaising with the Production team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of co-editions.

Lonely Planet is on the lookout for a dynamic Foreign Rights Manager to oversee our esteemed guidebook licensees while facilitating the sale of translation rights for our beloved gift and children's books in selected territories through co-editions and licensing agreements. In collaboration with the Head of Foreign Rights, you will devise and execute strategic initiatives to enhance Lonely Planet's print business and stimulate growth within your designated regions. We seek an experienced rights professional with proficient business development and negotiation skills, capable of juggling multiple accounts and territories effectively.
