Our Water team seeks an enthusiastic Flood Modeller to join our vibrant and expanding Water Business Line. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to significant, impactful projects across the UK and beyond while being situated in one of the UK’s most ambitious engineering hubs.

Your responsibilities will include:

At AECOM, you will be crucial in executing high-quality flood modelling and hydrology projects. Under general supervision, you will:

  • Perform various technical and administrative tasks of limited to moderate complexity related to groundwater investigations and hydrological studies.
  • Contribute to assignments across hydrology and related fields, adhering to defined project parameters with regular guidance from senior professionals.
  • Analyze hydrological and environmental data, develop models, and prepare clear, concise technical reports.
  • Monitor and interpret data to evaluate the impacts of upstream activities, ensuring compliance with relevant permits and regulatory standards.
