Your Role
As a Flight Test Manager at Helsing, you will spearhead the establishment and management of a comprehensive flight test organization. This team will be tasked with providing high-quality test data to both internal stakeholders and external partners. You will define the necessary infrastructure, personnel, and collaborations essential for conducting safe and efficient flight tests throughout the product lifecycle, from initial R&D to final certification and acceptance testing. Your efforts in developing and integrating facilities, tools, and processes into a unified framework will facilitate the swift evaluation of our systems, ensuring that Helsing's defence AI capabilities are robustly validated and primed for deployment.
Daily Responsibilities
Recruit, lead, and empower a diverse team of engineers and pilots to execute sophisticated flight operations.
Design and implement thorough flight test plans addressing engineering requirements across the entire product spectrum.
Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling for flight test campaigns to ensure effective and timely execution.
Direct the safe and effective conduct of all flight test operations, supervising detailed flight preparations, test procedures, and risk management activities.
