The Role

As a Flight Control Laws Engineer at Helsing, you will lead the development of AI-driven capabilities that enhance machine perception and human decision-making. You will be integral to our small, specialized team, focusing on the architecture, development, and flight testing of Flight Control Laws for our aerial platforms.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire development cycle of Flight Control Laws, from requirements analysis to integration and testing.
  • Contribute to the design of control architectures, aligning with high-level product needs.
  • Engage in linear design activities, including trimming and linearizing flight dynamics models, gain design, and linear analyses.
  • Participate in nonlinear design verification and clearance testing.
  • Facilitate hardware integration and testing.
  • Support risk and safety assessments.
  • Collaborate actively to enhance overall system performance.
