What You’ll AccomplishDevelop firmware for highly integrated embedded devices that are favored by our members and contribute positively to their lives. Engage at all phases of the product development lifecycle, from exploration and prototyping to detailed design, testing, and scaling for mass production. Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and senior firmware engineers on system architecture and integration. Ensure design quality while adhering to medical device regulatory requirements through clear documentation and rigorous testing. Assist in DevOps for embedded software, including the automation of code building and testing processes. Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI and integrate relevant tools into firmware development. Basic QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of professional experience in Firmware or Embedded Software, specifically in consumer electronics, medical devices, or other integrated embedded hardware. Strong proficiency in C programming within a firmware and embedded systems context. Experienced with low-level drivers (ADC, PWM, etc.) and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.). Proficient in Python for developing tools for firmware testing and automating tasks. Experience in a team environment utilizing version control (Git) and embedded development tools and workflows (including setting up build systems, J-Link, debugging). Familiarity with Electrical Engineering design principles, capable of reading datasheets and schematics.
