About the job

Ebury is looking for a Financial Crime Compliance Manager to join the London Victoria office. This hybrid role requires four days in the office and one day working from home each week.

This position reports to the Group Compliance Director and focuses on shaping and maintaining Ebury’s global financial crime framework, covering areas such as anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing (CTF), and anti-bribery and corruption (ABC). The role blends regulatory advisory, policy drafting, and strategic project management, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and the adoption of innovative solutions, including AI-driven controls.

Role overview

The Financial Crime Compliance Manager leads the ongoing development of Ebury’s financial crime program. This includes challenging existing processes, working with business units to simplify and automate controls, and providing regular assessments of the program’s effectiveness and direction.

Key responsibilities

  • Group Policy & Framework Drafting: Take primary responsibility for drafting comprehensive financial crime policies, standards, and frameworks. Ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements and is consistent across jurisdictions, entities, and product lines.
  • Framework Design & Evolution: Lead the design and continuous improvement of Ebury’s global financial crime program, building a foundation for effective risk management and compliance.
