About the job

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to provide professional finance services, ensuring accurate and timely information for our Corporate and Country Managers, as well as the relevant taxation authorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accounting records for the Middle East branches in compliance with the company’s standards.
  • Establish and uphold internal control procedures for finance operations within the UAE and KSA Offices.
  • Collaborate with managers to understand monthly results and provide necessary support.
  • Deliver timely information to tax advisors to ensure all compliance issues are managed effectively.
  • Strive to minimize duplication of efforts while ensuring the integrity of the information produced.
  • Engage in continuous self-development to enhance personal performance.
  • Lead, train, and inspire team members who report directly to you.

Responsibilities

The following duties illustrate the nature of the role. Priorities and timelines will be established in consultation with the International Controller, recognizing the professional competence required:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll, ensuring transaction accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Work closely with the International Controller to create standard accounting practices to support business operations in the Middle East.
  • Provide local guidance on corporate policies and procedures, including authorization levels and expense reporting.
  • Ensure a timely and accurate monthly closing process.
  • Generate comprehensive monthly and annual financial statements for internal and management use.
  • Analyze financial data and present variance reports to management regarding budget versus actuals.
  • Maintain monthly forecasts of revenue and expenses, as well as annual budgets.
  • Prepare and update monthly project profit and loss statements for specific implementation projects.
  • Maintain detailed records supporting revenue recognition and cost of sales by project and customer.
