Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related quantitative field. Over 6 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or data analytics roles. Demonstrated ability to cultivate effective cross-functional partnerships, particularly with GTM organizations, to achieve business objectives. Proficient in financial modeling, with the ability to understand and update complex models in line with industry best practices; expertise in Google Sheets is a plus. Strong data analysis skills, with a knack for transforming business questions into data-driven insights. Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting financial data through detailed reports, charts, and narratives. Familiarity with GAAP and non-GAAP financial metrics.

Join Databricks as an exceptional Finance Manager on our FP&A team, dedicated to empowering data teams to tackle the world’s most challenging problems. This role offers the chance to strategically analyze growth drivers and collaborate with our Go-To-Market (GTM) team to make a significant impact.

As a finance expert with experience in hyper-growth environments, you will independently address complex problems, leverage your extensive financial analysis skills, and confidently communicate insights to senior leadership. You will approach new challenges with first principles thinking to devise effective solutions.

Your contributions will include:

  • Utilizing analytical skills to solve problems through comprehensive data gathering and summarization to facilitate efficient executive decision-making, leading the recommendation process from start to finish.
  • Fostering strong, trusted relationships with teams across Sales, Finance, Commercialization, Data Science, Accounting, IT, Business Operations, and their technical counterparts.
  • Developing innovative solutions for data-related challenges, presenting insights through clear narratives and engaging presentations.
  • Creating and maintaining financial and operational models to provide real-time forecasts for essential financial metrics.
  • Collaborating with the GTM team to propose and implement strategies that enhance key financial indicators.
  • Driving process improvements, standardization, simplification, implementing necessary controls, and enhancing reporting capabilities.
