Position Overview
OWL Services is on the lookout for a skilled Field Service Technician to take charge of installing, maintaining, and repairing electro-mechanical equipment in various field settings. This is the perfect opportunity for a mechanically adept, safety-oriented individual who thrives on problem-solving and enjoys working autonomously.
As a vital component of our service team, you will ensure that essential systems such as POS equipment, alarms, and security devices function seamlessly at our clients' sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and replace electro-mechanical equipment as necessary.
- Service a variety of devices including cash registers, coin changers, alarms, and POS systems.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and develop effective solutions.
- Complete service requests and maintenance tasks promptly and professionally.
- Review work orders, manuals, and technical drawings thoroughly.
- Utilize testing devices, hand tools, and power tools effectively.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company procedures.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
- Travel 30–40% overnight, assisting with installations and upgrades as needed.
- Maintain precise documentation using company systems and mobile technology.
