• Adhere to safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects while participating in pre-task planning and reporting any safety issues to management.• Maintain high-quality standards across all projects.• As a developing engineering professional, your assignments will be designed to enhance your knowledge and skills.• Assist in research, data collection, field observations, inspections, and field and laboratory testing, preparing relevant reports or sections of larger reports.• Evaluate routine laboratory and field data for inclusion in reports while consulting with technical personnel and supervisors on routine and less complex projects.• Perform basic calculations and engineering analyses as needed.• Draft routine proposals and support the preparation of more complex proposals.• Collaborate with engineering technician crews to conduct testing, observations, and data gathering activities on project sites, preparing daily reports that document activities and findings.• Work under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.

Your role will involve leading field investigations, conducting engineering analyses, performing calculations, and offering strategic recommendations.

In this position, you will be responsible for the design and development of comprehensive plans and specifications, conducting thorough observations and inspections, and preparing detailed reports that reflect the services rendered. You will ensure that drawings and construction comply with established plans and specifications.

Your expertise will be crucial in preparing proposals and cost estimates, tracking project progress, and managing budgets while recommending necessary changes. You will also research and resolve design and construction challenges, assigning and evaluating laboratory or field data for inclusion in reports.

Utilizing sound engineering principles, you will effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical clients and project teams. The projects you will work on may encompass various sectors, including public works, transportation, commercial, communications, energy, and industrial.
