Founded by former SpaceX engineers and supported by Bain Capital Ventures, we aim to revolutionize construction by integrating automation to enhance speed, cost-efficiency, and safety.Job OverviewAs a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will leverage both conventional heavy machinery operation and cutting-edge technologies, including automation tools and our proprietary Mission Control system, to perform earthworks such as clearing, grading, grubbing, and excavation.Key ResponsibilitiesEfficiently operate advanced heavy equipment for site preparation and excavation, including excavators, bulldozers, graders, and skid steers.Gain proficiency in utilizing our proprietary Mission Control platform and on-site remote control technology.Conduct daily inspections of equipment, including onboard technology systems, and report maintenance requirements via digital platforms.Carry out excavation tasks in compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and site-specific protocols.Assist with minor troubleshooting of equipment and coordinate repairs with maintenance partners.Basic QualificationsA minimum of 3 years of experience in operating heavy equipment for site preparation and excavation.Demonstrated familiarity with technological systems and construction software.High school diploma or equivalent.Preferred Skills & ExperienceIn-depth knowledge of earthworks processes, including grading, compaction, and trenching.High level of tech literacy and enthusiasm for new technologies such as drones, simulators, or digital tools.Ability to read and interpret digital site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes.Capability to work under various weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform physically demanding tasks.Additional RequirementsValid driver’s license required.
