About the job

The Federal Account Executive for the Defense sector will play a pivotal role in generating new business sales revenue within the Federal Government landscape. This entails a combination of strategic account planning, territory management, collaboration with Nexthink partners, and proactive field sales activities.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has:

  1. Experience with early-stage companies that have successfully launched innovative products;
  2. A strong capability to advocate for the advantages of an experience-based solution;
  3. Adeptness in selling to various levels within IT organizations;
  4. Skill in managing customer expectations during Proof of Concept evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals for the designated territory on a quarterly and annual basis by:
  • Vigorously prospecting, identifying, qualifying, and nurturing the sales pipeline;
  • Formulating a regional strategy and action plan to maximize partnerships with Nexthink affiliates;
  • Establishing robust relationships with multiple Program Directors across Government Agencies;
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to organize seminars and trade shows that foster revenue growth;
  • Employing a consultative approach with clients, understanding their challenges and future strategies to promote the Nexthink solution effectively;
  • Qualifying prospects and developing new sales opportunities to sustain revenue growth;
  • Managing the sales process from initiation to closure;
  • Providing ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction;
  • Closing business to surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual booking targets;
  • Building strong relationships that lead to new growth opportunities;
  • Partnering with the Professional Services team to enhance customer satisfaction;
  • Offering a comprehensive solution of software, services, and support to guarantee customer success;
  • Coordinating with Marketing for seminars, trade shows, and various promotional events.
