Fabrication Mechanic - Assembly Trainee (1st & 2nd Shift)

Key ResponsibilitiesConducts visual and dimensional inspections on materials, assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with blueprints, customer instructions, and company procedures.Sets up and operates various equipment, including abrasive, squaring, deburring, and sizing tools, to prepare assemblies and components to meet cosmetic and dimensional standards.Utilizes hand tools for grinding, cutting, and sanding walls to achieve specified limits and requirements.Applies chemicals such as chemlock, acetone, and alcohol to prepare parts for subsequent processing.Prepares parts for oven curing in anticipation of molding operations.Regularly lifts and/or moves items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally handles weights of up to 25 pounds.Maintains consistent attendance and punctuality.Performs additional tasks as assigned.
