About the PositionWe are seeking a proactive Credit Controller to oversee our credit control operations—managing intricate customer accounts, driving collections, and playing a pivotal role in maintaining our cash flow. This dynamic, relationship-oriented role intersects finance, sales, and operations, offering you significant visibility across the organization. You will be adept at making phone calls to follow up on payments and equally comfortable in face-to-face meetings with senior customer representatives. Your Responsibilities· Managing a portfolio of high-value accounts and fostering robust customer relationships to ensure timely invoice payments.· Accurately issuing invoices and statements in accordance with established billing schedules and ensuring necessary purchase orders are obtained and maintained.· Collaborating with internal teams to investigate and resolve invoice disputes, processing credit notes when necessary.· Taking ownership of precise and prompt cash allocation while keeping customer account information updated across finance, billing, and CRM systems.· Conducting regular on-site customer visits to discuss account performance and address queries.· Analyzing debtor trends, performing credit reviews and risk assessments, and tracking KPIs related to overdue accounts and cash collection performance.· Contributing to cash forecasting and supporting month-end and year-end receivables reporting.· Identifying process inefficiencies and aiding in the digitalization and automation initiatives within the credit team.· Working closely with sales, customer service, and finance teams to align on credit policies and escalate late payment risks when necessary.
