This position is hybrid, offering the flexibility to work both in our White Plains headquarters and remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive legal research on a variety of topics pertinent to the alcohol industry, encompassing federal and state regulations, licensing, and compliance matters.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing diverse contract types, including distribution agreements, marketing agreements, and supplier contracts.
- Support the legal team in formulating and enforcing internal and external compliance policies and procedures, which include record-keeping, reporting, and training initiatives.
- Keep abreast of industry news and regulatory updates to ensure the company stays informed about significant legal changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide legal insights on various business matters, including marketing, sales, and operational issues.
- Help prepare legal memoranda, briefing materials, and presentations for both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Undertake additional duties and special projects as delegated by the legal team.
