Role overview The IT FinOps Controller will join the UKIME team in Warsaw, specializing in Azure FinOps. This position centers on financial governance and optimization of cloud and infrastructure resources, all within a regulated legal environment. The role involves defining and developing FinOps capabilities for the firm, with a focus on cost transparency, commercial efficiency, and accountability for technology spending. Alignment with the firm's strategic goals is essential. Key responsibilities Advance financial governance and optimize cloud and infrastructure costs, especially in Azure environments. Develop and promote FinOps practices to ensure cost transparency and efficient technology expenditure. Act as a link between IT, Finance, and Procurement, integrating financial management and vendor oversight. Manage Azure consumption, infrastructure costs, and contract oversight, providing actionable financial insights. Foster a culture of cost-awareness and support senior leadership in technology investment decisions. Requirements Experience in Azure FinOps or a related financial governance role. Strong analytical abilities and commercial acumen. Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and partners. Ability to work across IT, Finance, and Procurement functions.
