Position: Administrative AssistantLocation: Trenton, NJDuration: 4 monthsJob Description:This temporary position provides essential support for a range of MA PPO quality initiatives, including the management of supplemental data for HEDIS performance and handling member correspondence related to the rewards program.Job Summary:The Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in enhancing departmental efficiency by performing various administrative tasks and reporting directly to the manager.Key Responsibilities:Direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel within the organization.Supply the manager and team with comprehensive background information for all calls and communications.Assist staff with routine administrative tasks to ensure timely information flow.Develop and maintain organized files and records, both physical and electronic.Support special projects and administrative tasks as directed by the manager.Draft and type both routine and confidential correspondence and memos.Monitor and track attendance records for regular reporting.Potentially create and manage databases pertinent to departmental activities and projects.Provide clerical assistance across departmental areas as needed.Qualifications:Education/Experience:A minimum of two (2) years of prior administrative experience is preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Candidates must demonstrate typing proficiency of at least 35 words per minute and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational and interpersonal skills are also required.
