Key Responsibilities: Lead purchasing and inventory management for a variety of food commodities, primarily focusing on fresh produce. You’ll be responsible for logistics coordination, cost management, and maintaining supplier and warehouse relationships. Facilitate smooth transitions during weekends, ensuring proper communication and support for the in-week team on Fridays and Mondays. Manage core operational tasks including issuing purchase orders, tracking freight, addressing production issues, and ensuring timely invoice payments. Maintain a steady flow of inventory by partnering with distribution centers and suppliers to align delivery schedules with production needs.
