The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in providing production support for mainframe applications.Your responsibilities will include:Developing and supporting applications written in SAS language and SAS Macros.Providing production support for various batch jobs running in the mainframe environment.Familiarizing yourself with the Client's code base to understand its current functionality and identify necessary changes.Engaging as a thought partner in defining and implementing technical solutions.Resolving data issues by elucidating the functionality of the code and documenting as required.Fixing coding problems in the existing code base or rewriting programs, macros, Procs, and JCL to adopt modern technical approaches.Conducting analyses to provide insights and alternative technical solutions with work estimates.
