About the Role:
We are on a quest to assemble a world-class team that champions innovation, growth, and excellence. As we experience rapid scaling, we are seeking a strategic and analytical Director of Pricing to build and lead a high-performing pricing team. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies for our Sell to Clutch and Vehicle Markets Group, enhancing profitability, customer conversion, and operational efficiency across our acquisition and retail channels. Collaborating closely with our Data Engineering team, you will ensure that robust data pipelines and insights drive every pricing decision. In this data-rich environment, you will oversee pricing and conversion across over 10,000 new offers weekly, utilizing a database of more than 250,000 customer offers with current market valuations to craft pricing frameworks, reporting structures, and disposition strategies that elevate our company's performance and competitiveness.
What You’ll Do:
- Price Optimization Strategy: Develop and continuously refine pricing algorithms and offer-optimization strategies to maximize conversion rates across high-volume acquisition and retail channels.
- Build & Lead Pricing Team: Recruit, mentor, and manage a diverse team of pricing analysts and data scientists, cultivating a culture of analytical rigor, innovation, and rapid iteration.
- Acquisition & Retail Pricing Matrix: Establish and maintain comprehensive pricing frameworks that enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
