Create and maintain reusable test libraries, data builders, and mocking utilities for use by other engineers. Implement tools for observability in testing, such as flakiness dashboards, coverage reports, and failure triage utilities. CI/CD Integration & Shift-Left Quality Integrate automated test suites as quality gates within CI/CD pipelines (using GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar), ensuring that build failures are resolved within 30 minutes. Advocate for shift-left testing by participating in design and architecture reviews, identifying testability concerns early, and influencing API contracts, feature flags, and observability hooks. Work with DevOps and Platform teams to maintain test environment consistency between staging and production.
