This position is essential for ensuring swift hiring processes that align with business demands and includes supporting work pass administration, enhancing employee engagement, managing employee relations, developing HR policies, and overseeing bursary management.Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition- Spearhead and manage comprehensive regional recruitment processes, including manpower planning, job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding coordination.- Collaborate with hiring managers to assess staffing needs and formulate recruitment strategies that resonate with business goals.- Cultivate and sustain talent pipelines through various platforms such as job portals, career fairs, educational institutions, and professional networks.- Track recruitment metrics to continuously enhance hiring efficiency, candidate quality, and experience.Internship Programs- Supervise internship initiatives, coordinating with educational institutions on recruitment, onboarding, and program tracking.- Administer internship grants, ensuring adherence to governmental grant protocols and submission requirements.Grants Administration- Oversee government-related grants and funding schemes pertinent to recruitment, training, and workforce development.- Ensure compliance with grant stipulations, proper documentation, prompt submissions, and audit readiness.- Collaborate with government agencies and internal stakeholders to optimize funding opportunities.- Monitor grant usage and compile reports for management review.Performance Management- Assist in coordinating the organization’s performance management cycle, which includes goal-setting, mid-year reviews, and annual evaluations.- Provide guidance to managers on performance evaluation standards and documentation.- Track performance outcomes and identify necessary development or improvement plans.- Support the implementation of performance improvement plans (PIPs) and offer HR advisory to managers.Work Pass Administration- Manage work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and compliance in line with employment regulations.- Ensure accurate documentation, timely submissions, and adherence to statutory requirements.Employee Engagement & Relations- Implement and support employee engagement initiatives, including programs for recognition and talent retention.- Administer employee bursary programs, including eligibility assessments and coordination.- Oversee and manage employee grievance procedures, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and fairly.
