Position Overview- This pivotal role aims to position the Conduct & Control Department as a proactive partner and integral player in the Bank’s strategic initiatives. Incident Investigation and Analysis - Ensure prompt lodging and escalation of incidents. - Lead comprehensive investigations of operational risk incidents across Wealth Management in Singapore and Hong Kong. - Conduct structured fact-finding and evidence analysis to ascertain root causes and contributing factors. - Assess downstream and upstream impacts, ensuring proposed actions rectify immediate, historical, and future issues. - Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of remediation actions and preventive measures. - Perform trend analysis to uncover opportunities for enhancing the control framework.2. Escalation and Governance - Guarantee timely escalation of incidents to Senior Management according to established thresholds and governance standards. - Prepare concise incident summaries, analyses, and reporting materials for management and governance committees (e.g., ICC, ORCC).3. Stakeholder Coordination - Act as a key liaison among Front Office, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders on incident matters. - Collaborate with Head Office and regional counterparts to ensure uniformity in incident handling and alignment with Group expectations. - Facilitate effective ownership and accountability for incident remediation.4. Reporting and Continuous Improvement - Generate incident reports (e.g., quarterly reporting) and trend analyses for management. - Contribute to the review and enhancement of incident-related procedures, escalation matrices, and governance frameworks. - Support internal audits, inspections, and ad-hoc risk reviews related to operational incidents. - Assist in fulfilling various risk reporting requirements for different forums and to Head Office.5.
