Pathlight School is Singapore's pioneering institution dedicated to supporting students on the autism spectrum. We offer a comprehensive national curriculum paired with essential life readiness skills for learners aged 7 to 18 who are cognitively capable yet require tailored assistance through smaller class sizes and specialized training for our educators.
The Autism Intervention, Training & Consultancy (AITC) team provides essential training and consultancy services for professionals, caregivers, and direct intervention services for individuals with autism.
As a Psychologist, you will collaborate with students with autism to enhance their skills, self-regulation, and social communication. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessment & Report Writing: Conduct cognitive assessments and compile reports for Access Arrangements for national exams, assess Mental Capacity for deputyship, and co-develop assessment processes for various needs.
Intervention:
- Implement Positive Behaviour Support plans, manage an emergency support line for staff, contribute to school-wide behavior initiatives, and provide classroom instruction on essential life skills.
Program Development:
- Engage in curriculum and program development projects.
Coaching/Training:
- Deliver training and support for educators and parents regarding autism-related issues and collaborate with external stakeholders.
