Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, implement, and sustain low-latency network infrastructure spanning on-premise and multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud);
- Refine routing, peering, and data pathways to facilitate ultra-low-latency communication;
- Conduct proactive network performance monitoring and establish metrics, alerting, and telemetry for comprehensive visibility;
- Work alongside vendors and partners to oversee connectivity, link deployment, and network lifecycle;
- Assist in automating operational tasks, managing configurations, and integrating CI/CD processes;
- Engage in incident response, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis to enhance network reliability and performance continuously.
Required Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of IP networking, routing protocols, BGP, multicast, RF, and fiber technologies;
- Practical experience in cloud networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Cloud Interconnect, VPC Peering, etc.) across AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Alibaba Cloud;
- Strong grasp of the Linux networking stack, tuning, and performance optimization;
- Familiarity with network automation tools such as Ansible, Python, Terraform, NetBox, or similar technologies;
- Awareness of observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and other telemetry solutions;
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and operational discipline within distributed environments;
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing low-latency or high-performance networks, particularly in trading, finance, or similar latency-sensitive sectors;
- Knowledge of low-latency networking hardware, including Layer 1 switches and optical transport;
- Hands-on experience with RF-based networks;
- Development skills sufficient to create custom network diagnostic or monitoring tools.
