Role Overview
The Digital Business Analyst (Technical) will work hands-on with engineering teams to develop agile, cloud-based digital products. This role bridges business and technology, ensuring clear communication and strong documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
What You Will Do
- Lead requirements gathering and technical analysis for digital products, collaborating with business users, engineers, architects, and delivery teams to identify needs and solutions.
- Translate business, operational, and policy requirements into clear functional and technical documentation. Deliverables include product requirements, user stories, process flows, data models, and integration specifications, maintaining traceability throughout delivery.
- Analyze complex business and system challenges using process mapping, data analysis, and impact assessments. Recommend solutions that balance user needs, technical feasibility, cost, and cloud architecture considerations.
- Act as a liaison between business and technology teams in agile development environments. Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support solution design for cloud-hosted environments. Work with technical teams to clarify requirements around cloud infrastructure, security, scalability, performance, and integration.
- Design and implement user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation strategies. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements, compliance standards, and quality expectations.
- Collaborate with development teams after launch to monitor production, analyze user feedback and system data, and drive ongoing improvements to digital products.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and optimization using digital platforms and ecosystem-based approaches.
