This position collaborates with developers to build deployment workflows, oversee production systems, and enhance the reliability, security, and performance of cloud environments. The role suits someone who enjoys full ownership of systems, solving production challenges, and supporting agile product teams. Main responsibilities Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment. Operate and scale Kubernetes clusters, including EKS, GKE, AKS, or self-managed options. Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation. Improve system reliability, performance, availability, and scalability. Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (for example, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog). Support zero-downtime deployments, rollback procedures, and release strategies. Troubleshoot production issues, including latency, errors (such as 502 errors), pod failures, OOMs, and networking problems. Apply security best practices, including secrets management, IAM, and network policies. Work closely with software engineers on deployment strategies, system architecture, and operational readiness. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong background in Linux environments and shell scripting. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows. Proficiency with cloud services and technologies. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing systems. Location Singapore
