Join Our Innovative Team As a Product Owner at Toss, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing offline payment experiences within our Toss Pay silo. Our team comprises developers, designers, and various makers working together to create unprecedented payment experiences that replace traditional plastic cards. You will engage in daily discussions, make autonomous decisions, and implement innovative solutions. Collaborate with all domestic card companies and major VAN service providers, acquiring in-depth domain knowledge about the complete process of offline transactions. The Product Owner chapter at Toss consists of talented members with 2 to 15 years of experience from diverse backgrounds, including startups, entrepreneurship, and large corporations. Weekly PO meetings provide a platform for sharing insights into better products, as well as learning from both successes and failures. Your Responsibilities You will hold the final decision-making authority on all matters related to the offline Toss Pay product, leading the development, partnerships, and enhancement of payment functionalities. Lead collaborations with card companies and VAN providers to ensure a successful setup of the offline Toss Pay infrastructure. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the product, from defining key performance indicators to designing business models, driving action items, and deriving results to foster product growth. Establish valid hypotheses, validate them through experiments, and continuously iterate to achieve Product-Market Fit and enhance the product. You will possess decision-making authority regarding business direction, revenue, and profitability, setting goals and strategies through collaborative discussions with silo members to determine the best path forward. This role allows you to experience the challenges of running a real business, akin to a startup CEO, where you define problems, face challenges directly, and experience the outcomes of your actions. We Are Looking For Individuals who have experience achieving results or learning from failures in an agile process. Logical thinkers who can connect defined visions, strategies, and missions to business impacts. A strong analytical mindset capable of solving diverse and complex problems based on data. Experience in defining and solving problems from the customer's perspective is highly desirable. Founders with experience managing all aspects of a startup from business/product planning to organizational operations would be a great fit. Experience with payment integration involving card companies and VAN services is a plus. Resume Tips Clearly define the problems you have tackled in your Product/Service/Project roles, including hypothesis formation, actions taken, and results achieved. Your work history should highlight impact and learning points rather than just listing tasks. Emphasize your direct contributions and outcomes.
