As a Technical Product Owner at Toss, you will be part of a dedicated silo or team that drives the success of technology-based products. Silos consist of small teams of around five members, including product designers, developers, and data analysts, while larger teams are formed for products with higher maturity or complexity. Here are the responsibilities you will take on: Establish and strive towards biannual goals for your team or silo to ensure the success of your assigned product. Make decisions regarding business direction, revenue, and monetization, and formulate objectives and strategies through extensive discussions with team members to set the 'best direction'. Define key performance indicators for the product, design business models, and drive actionable initiatives. Establish valid hypotheses, conduct data-driven experiments and validations, and iterate to achieve Product-Market Fit and enhance the product. Define problems based on customer needs and business impact, break them down into tasks, and communicate complex issues and solutions clearly to various stakeholders, guiding towards long-term goals. Lead the success of technology-based products by communicating effectively with engineers in a shared language. Experience the challenges of a startup CEO by identifying and solving problems directly, gaining insights from both successes and failures. We are looking for someone who: Has a strong understanding of technology-based web/app services. Has experience leading complex technical products. Has a background in defining and solving problems from a customer perspective. Can tackle complex issues using data-driven approaches. Possesses the determination to find solutions even in challenging situations. Has experience creating results in an agile environment or learning from failures. Would benefit from startup experience covering business planning, product development, and organizational operations. Here’s an overview of the services you will be responsible for: Platform Division: Creating the home screen and related services used by 29 million Toss users. Foundation Division: Developing common foundational services necessary for Toss's business domains such as verification, risk management, business membership, and money transfers. Growth Division: Building services related to user growth, retention, and monetization, particularly new services based on data-driven customer analysis. Pay Domain: Developing the 'Toss Pay' payment platform, offering stable payment solutions and innovative payment methods, along with various services for user growth. Commerce Domain: Creating 'Toss Shopping' within the Toss app, preparing to launch various services that compel user choice as it enhances common commerce functionalities in the latter half of 2024.
