As a leader within the Compliance team, you will guide fellow team members, plan and execute compliance initiatives, and oversee various projects.Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance:• Analyze and interpret regulatory and legal developments affecting financial institutions to assess their relevance and impact on Redwood Credit Union.• Conduct research on regulatory/legal inquiries from other departments as assigned.• Present your findings and analyses to RCU management.• Collaborate independently with various departments to implement legal requirements and ensure compliance of our products, services, and processes.• Develop and oversee compliance and training programs.• Supervise the activities of Compliance Analyst(s) as directed by the Compliance Manager.• Update Credit Union disclosures as required.• Prepare detailed reports and analyses for the Compliance management team.• Support projects, exams, audits, and other tasks as needed.• Deliver exceptional service to all members and internal clients.• Lead initiatives to implement regulatory and legal changes, including setting project goals, coordinating across departments, and monitoring effectiveness.• Collaborate with departments to identify and mitigate business risks, focusing on compliance, business continuity, and internal controls.RCU Services Group Compliance:• Research and advise on governance requirements for Credit Union Service Organizations (CUSOs).• Review regulatory and legal changes affecting insurance agencies and vehicle broker/dealers, assessing their applicability and impact on RCU Services Group.• Present your findings to RCU and RCU Services Group Management.• Work independently with RCU Services Group Management to ensure compliance with legal requirements across products, services, and processes.• Create and manage compliance programs and training within the RCU Services Group.• Update RCU Services Group disclosures as necessary.• Prepare reports and analysis for RCU Services Group Management.• Manage projects required to implement regulatory changes, ensuring compliance across various functions.
