The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, proactive, and possesses clear communication skills, ensuring a consistent and timely supply of materials to facilitate our print production and mailing operations while fostering strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and availability.This position requires full-time, onsite presence from Monday through Friday.Your Key Responsibilities:Assist Client Services and Business Development by sourcing, quoting, and purchasing print production materials for current, one-time, and proposed jobs.Oversee the complete print buying process from requirement gathering and quoting to order placement, production coordination, and final delivery.Ensure quality control of all artwork and samples from clients and suppliers, verifying compliance with client specifications and purchase order details.Engage in vendor selection and maintain strong relationships with multiple vendors across the nation.Stay updated on technical aspects of print and envelope materials, including cost drivers.Create and manage purchase orders and approval documentation for external services using our automated purchase order system.Monitor and proactively manage house inventory for all company locations to prevent stock outages.Communicate delivery expectations clearly with the Warehouse team.Maintain proactive communication with suppliers to ensure adherence to delivery schedules and quality standards.Collaborate with Production and Warehouse personnel to address stock quality issues and facilitate returns to suppliers as necessary.Provide training to new Client Services Representatives on the purchasing process and print materials terminology, as required.Document all communications in writing, preferably via email.
