This position focuses on assisting adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities as they explore, find, and keep jobs. The work involves direct job coaching and training, with an emphasis on helping each person build skills for greater independence at work. What You Will Do Employment Skills Coaching: Offer individualized coaching at job sites across San Mateo County. Guide individuals as they identify career interests, apply for positions, and grow more independent in their roles. Adjust job training methods to fit each person’s strengths and learning preferences. Person-Centered Planning: Partner with individuals to design and carry out tailored support plans. Coordinate with families, colleagues, and other professionals to set meaningful vocational goals, monitor progress, and update plans as situations change.
