THE ROLE:
As a Technical Project Manager, you will cultivate strong relationships across internal departments to understand their challenges and deliver strategic technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with DEPT® and client Design, Engineering, Analytics, and Growth teams to ensure successful execution of technical email projects.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Collaborate with OpenAI Design, Engineering, Analytics, and Business teams on lifecycle email programs.
- Serve as a point of contact for various internal teams, encompassing technical, product, and operational aspects.
- Drive end-to-end project management for email campaigns, including intake, prioritization, launch readiness, quality assurance, and post-launch analysis.
- Independently coordinate cross-functional dependencies to guarantee timely and high-quality project launches.
- Enhance and standardize email operating processes such as campaign intake, briefing, approvals, quality assurance, reporting, and learnings.
- Implement continuous process improvements to minimize manual tasks and streamline execution.
- Document all email in-flight requests and identify any redundancies in new requests.
- Ensure alignment of all design templates and perform audits when necessary.
- Standardize post-campaign reporting and learning reviews to guide future initiatives.
- Assist in infrastructure improvements with OpenAI Engineering/Analytics to address known gaps, including email segmentation exclusions, query standardization, and data freshness.
