About Metriport
Metriport is an innovative open-source data intelligence platform revolutionizing how healthcare organizations access and share patient data in real-time. Our platform seamlessly integrates with all major U. S. healthcare IT systems, providing access to medical data for over 300 million individuals. With a proven product-market fit, generating multi-million ARR, and a diverse clientele including Strive Health, Circle Medical, and Brightside Health, we are backed by leading venture capitalists and equipped with ample runway for scaling. Our tight-knit, high-performing team, primarily composed of former founders and two YC alumni, thrives in an engineering-heavy environment characterized by minimal bureaucracy and high autonomy. We value competence over prestige and are committed to maintaining sustainable work intensity while allowing flexibility in scheduling.
The Role
As the first dedicated Finance hire within our BizOps team, you will not be confined to traditional FP&A tasks. You will oversee our entire financial operations, ensuring the integrity of our financial records, improving revenue collection efficiency, and automating internal finance operations. We seek an adaptable, proactive individual who is comfortable leading strategic financial discussions while also engaging in hands-on troubleshooting of our financial systems.
What You’ll Own
- The Financial Stack: Manage our banking, invoicing, bookkeeping, and FP&A processes end-to-end.
- The Close: Ensure pristine month-end and year-end financial closes, with books finalized by the 15th of each month.
- Operations & RevOps: Collaborate with the Sales team to drive revenue operations and integrate necessary systems (e.g., HubSpot to Stripe, Stripe to QuickBooks).
- Reporting: Monitor and enhance our collections rate, budget versus actuals (BVA), and departmental purchase request turnaround times.
- External Relations: Act as the professional representative of Metriport to accountants, investors, vendors, and customers.
