Role overview
This Senior Product Designer position is based in Hayes Valley, San Francisco. The role follows a hybrid work model: office attendance is required on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with remote work on Monday and Friday. This is a full-time opportunity to join a growing design team at Baton.
What you will do
The Senior Product Designer will help shape the next generation of freight technology. Design work will directly impact the daily workflows of freight planners, dispatchers, and operations teams across Ryder’s customer network. The role involves both UX and UI, focusing on solving complex problems and building clear, intuitive solutions for longstanding industry workflows. Baton values designers who can create AI-driven, data-rich interfaces that help users interpret and trust algorithmic recommendations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design projects, from discovery and research through prototyping, testing, and implementation.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure designs align with organizational goals.
