About Brico:
Brico is revolutionizing licensing compliance by creating innovative solutions that simplify the path for financial services. Imagine a platform akin to TurboTax but tailored for licensing. Our mission is to foster innovation and enhance accessibility within the financial sector by eliminating the primary hurdle of obtaining licenses.
As a rapidly expanding, venture capital-backed start-up that is cherished by its customers, we provide an energetic work environment where creativity and initiative drive every initiative. Joining Brico means becoming a pivotal member of an early-stage founding team committed to making licensing and compliance more cost-effective, efficient, and enjoyable.
About the Role:
We are in search of a proactive full-stack Software Engineer who can seamlessly transition between front-end and back-end development. This position is perfect for someone who identifies challenges and brainstorms innovative solutions rather than adhering strictly to conventional methods. We want a candidate who gets excited about automating processes that were traditionally seen as unautomatable and who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal individual will possess a high degree of autonomy and a track record of consistently producing high-quality work at a rapid pace. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their career while being part of a foundational team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications with an emphasis on user experience.
- Architect, design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems that underpin our licensing platform.
- Collaborate with third-party LLMs to integrate intelligent features and enhance product functionality.
- Contribute to system architecture and influence development processes to achieve engineering excellence.
- Conduct code reviews, establish testing protocols, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices while actively participating in our knowledge-sharing culture.
What We Are Looking For:
Must Have:
- 6-8 years of experience in full-stack software development.
- Proficient in backend and frontend frameworks and languages such as Node.js, Python, React, Django, or similar.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and microservices architecture.
