What You’ll Do:Design and implement leasing strategies in line with our infrastructure growth objectives. Lead the comprehensive equipment leasing program, assessing buy vs. lease decisions and selecting third-party capital partners. Serve as the primary contact for financing partners, monitor financing terms across lenders (including rates, fees, and covenants), and assist in negotiations for new leases and refinancing, while comparing financing options to recommend the most cost-effective structure. Oversee all aspects of the lease portfolio, ensuring a centralized register is maintained, tracking key financial terms (principal, interest, payment schedules, maturity), and identifying variances and refinancing needs. Facilitate coordination for equipment requirements and orders among the Infrastructure, Engineering, Procurement teams, and appropriate capital partners throughout the procurement process. Manage the execution of new leases, ensuring all documentation is completed, timing is adhered to, and validating lease contracts against vendor invoices, involving both financing partners and internal teams. Provide financial forecasting support by producing monthly/quarterly lease schedules, cash flow projections, and detailed inputs for budgeting, long-range planning, and ad-hoc analysis. Establish and maintain processes, including standardized templates for tracking, workflows for new lease intake, contract approval, and payment tracking, ensuring smooth handovers to accounting teams. Act as the primary liaison and escalation point for all stakeholders involved in the program, including financing partners, Infrastructure, Legal, and Accounting teams.
