Research Focus Areas Worst-Case Demonstrations: Develop compelling examples that show how AI systems might fail, especially in scenarios where misaligned AGI could harm human priorities. Adversarial & Frontier Safety Evaluations: Build rigorous tests using these demonstrations to measure dangerous capabilities, such as deception or power-seeking behavior. System-Level Stress Testing: Create automated infrastructure to push product stacks to their limits, adapting tests as the systems evolve. Alignment Stress-Testing Research: Study where mitigations break down, share findings to inform strategy, and work with other research groups to improve safeguards. Role Overview This Senior Researcher position centers on AI safety and red-teaming.
